About The Good Days Project

The Good Days Project is a service that has been set up by people passionate about high quality person centred services for people with a learning disability.

Our vision is to provide a high quality person centred service that provides excellent care & support, maximises an individual’s potential & aims to enhance the quality of life of that person. We will build a bespoke service around the likes, dislikes development needs & care needs of the person & their family.

We provide developmental experiences as well as the very highest quality support 7 days of the week at times that suit our service users.

We will work in close partnership with both families and paid carers who support the person at home. We will foster openness, a ‘can do’ attitude and work hard to maintain good communication.

We will do everything possible to engage, enhance & support the person’s communication, through our skilled, well trained & motivated staff through techniques such as Intensive Interaction & by providing a facilitative communication environment.

We work closely with other specialists such as Speech & Language Therapists, Community Nurses, Social Workers Physiotherapists & Clinical Psychologists in the Community Learning Disability teams.
